Hardwood Cladding
Our hardwood cladding range includes Balau, Cumaru, and Ipe, alongside sustainably sourced European oak.
- Tropical hardwoods are exceptionally dense and naturally resilient, making them ideal for high exposure elevations and demanding environments. Their rich tones – from warm browns to deep reddish hues – create a bold finish that weathers well over time.
- Oak offers a lighter, more traditional aesthetic, with distinctive grain and natural movement that settles beautifully as the years roll on.
All hardwood options provide outstanding durability and a long service life when correctly specified.

Softwood Cladding
Our softwood cladding includes Western Red Cedar and Siberian Larch, both valued for their stability and natural character.
- Cedar contains high levels of natural oils, helping it resist decay while offering a refined appearance.
- Siberian Larch is slower grown and resin-dense, giving added durability with a clean look.
Responsibly sourced and lighter in tone, softwood cladding provides a versatile and cost-conscious solution without compromising performance or longevity.

Thermo-Treated Cladding
As UK distributors of Thermory®, we supply thermo-treated cladding enhanced through a chemical-free heat process. This treatment increases stability, reduces movement, and deepens the timber’s natural colouring to achieve a refined finish.
Suitable for both exterior facades and interior feature walls, thermo-treated boards offer an environmentally responsible solution with impressive durability and performance.

Composite Cladding
Our WEO composite cladding combines the look of timber with advanced co-extrusion technology for long-term stability.
Each board features a realistic wood grain and multi-tonal finish, protected by a durable outer layer that resists UV, moisture, and fading.
Manufactured from recycled wood fibres and plastics, it offers a low-maintenance solution suited to both residential and commercial projects.

Profiles & Design Options
The profile you choose shapes the overall character of your build. Our cladding is available in a wide range of styles, including:
- Batten Cladding – Strong architectural look, ideal for contemporary facades.
- Featheredge – Traditional weatherboarding suited to heritage and rural properties.
- Shiplap – Interlocking boards for a uniform finish.
- Shadow Gap – Crisp detailing with defined spacing between boards.
- Square Edge – A simpler look with flexibility in layout.
- Oak & Western Red Cedar Shingles – Textured roofing and feature elevations with natural depth.
Boards can be installed vertically or horizontally to create height, width, or rhythm depending on your design intent.

Frequently Asked Questions
How long does timber cladding last?
Timber cladding is a long-term investment when properly specified. Dense tropical hardwoods such as Ipe and Cumaru can perform for several decades, often 40 years or more in the right conditions. Cedar and oak also offer impressive service life in exterior applications. Composite boards are engineered for extended durability and colour stability. Exposure, detailing, and maintenance will all influence lifespan, but quality materials installed correctly are designed to endure.
Will timber cladding turn grey over time?
In short, yes. UV light and moisture gradually draw the natural colour from exposed timber, leaving a soft silver-grey patina. This change is purely cosmetic and does not affect strength or structural performance. Many customers prefer the aged appearance, particularly on oak and cedar. If you’d rather preserve the original tone, a UV-resistant oil can be applied and maintained periodically.
How much maintenance does hardwood cladding require?
Less than many expect. If you are happy for the timber to weather naturally, ongoing maintenance is largely limited to keeping the surface clean and ensuring airflow remains unobstructed. Where colour retention is preferred, a penetrating oil should be applied after installation and refreshed as needed, depending on exposure. Routine inspection of fixings and drainage will help safeguard long-term performance.
Is composite cladding really low maintenance?
Composite cladding is designed for consistency and ease. Its protective outer layer resists fading, staining, and moisture absorption, so there is no need for painting or oiling. A wash once or twice a year is usually sufficient. As with any facade system, keeping ventilation gaps clear will ensure the boards perform as intended.
Do I need ventilation behind cladding?
Yes – proper ventilation is essential. A ventilated cavity allows moisture to escape and air to circulate behind the boards, helping to prevent movement or trapped dampness. Timber should also be acclimatised on site before installation. Good detailing at the base of the system ensures effective drainage and long-term stability.
What fixings are best for exterior timber cladding?
Stainless steel fixings are strongly recommended to prevent corrosion and staining. Some profiles allow for hidden fixings through a tongue or rebate, creating a clean finish, while others are face-fixed for a more expressed look. Dense hardwoods should always be pre-drilled. If you are unsure, our team can advise on the most appropriate approach for your chosen species and profile.
