Solid Oak Octagonal Peg Wood Dowel

Oak Dowel, also known as Peg Wood is used in the construction of Oak Framed Buildings. Our Oak Pegwood is machined in our saw mill in East Sussex, from European Oak. This is produced in an octagonal profile with a diameter of 18mm, and cut into 1m lengths. Using Oak Dowel in the construction of timber frames, allows you to keep the fixings in keeping with the overall solid Oak look. As manufacturers of Oak Framed Buildings, we understand that every detail counts, including the use of Oak Peg Wood for the construction of a timber frame. Proving a fixing method which is in keeping with the structure is essential for many of our customers, as a traditional overall appearance is often desired.
