Treatex hardwax oil is an ideal finish for our unfinished oak floors or for applying further coats to our pre-oiled flooring. Easy to then clean and maintain. Any scratches or scuff marks are easy to repair by simply cleaning, sanding back and then re-oiling the damaged area.
Clear 'Matt' and 'Satin' are finishing oils and should be applied once your floor has been laid. Clear 'Natural' is, in essence, a colour. It is perfect for recreating an Unfinished appearance to your Oak flooring, and can also be used on other light coloured timbers. Hardwax Oil Traditional is manufactured on a base of natural, sustainable raw materials including; linseed oil, sunflower oil, jojoba oil, beeswax, carnauba wax and candelilla wax. In addition to offering protection, Treatex Hardwax Oils also give you the opportunity to shade your floor with a range of tints, from light oak right up to ebony. Clear oils are also available, although these may still darken your boards slightly, as can happen with any application of moisture to a timber product. To achieve the most natural appearance, the clear natural oil should be used. If using a stain, it is recommended that a final top layer of clear oil is applied for added durability. We offer Treatex hard wax finishing oil in a wide variety of tones. Treatex is recommended for use with wooden flooring, doors and worktops. It is manufactured on a base of natural, sustainable raw materials including linseed oil, sunflower oil, jojoba oil, beeswax, carnauba wax and candelilla wax.
