OUR SOFTWOOD DECKING RANGE
Whilst we are a hardwood specialist, we do make exceptions for a few softwood decking products. Cedar decking, for instance, makes the grade as its high level of natural oils provide it with a level of resistance to insect and fungal attacks similar to that found in its denser cousins. It is also ideal for those looking for a garden decking board offering the light uniform appearance typically associated with softwood timber, but that doesn't sacrifice durability. Siberian Larch also makes the as it is extremely dense, due to an extremely resinous nature. Buildings constructed 1000 years ago in Russia, where it is known as 'The Tree of Eternity', remain standing today. Siberian Larch also has strong environmental credentials. It is responsibly harvested from genuinely slow grown trees, with the supply being FSC accredited.
